Conservative Future activists rallied tonight across the country in London
(Paddington, Euston, Victoria, Charing Cross, King‘s Cross and Westminster),
as well as in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle, targeting commuters on their way home with a specially designed Budget rapid response flyer. In under two hours they distributed 20,000 of these to an often enthusiastic public. I led the team at Westminster tube station, where commuters greeted us not infrequently with replies of ‘Keep up the good work’ as we handed them literature. Sky, the BBC and ConHome attended on us.
Here’s the flyer in detail:

The response on the street was interesting when compared to last time CF held an event like that. Prior to Christmas they handed out the Labour’s Tax Bombshell warning (which proved to have unestimated Labour’s mendacity!). If the public were feeling angry back then, then tonight they were livid. Labour has done it again.

I’d just like to say well done to everyone involved. It’s activists like yourself who are able to spike the lies of Labour and their media cohorts by getting out on the ground and spreading the word. This is valuable stuff and I salute each and every one of you.
