Michelle Malkin has some news to cheer us up, reporting that Code Pink, an American anti-military movement who have tried to intimidate recruiters, protested outside a medical centre treating wounded service personnel, and displayed flag-draped coffins have abandoned their efforts in Berkeley, California, closing their offices, selling up and shipping out.
Recruiters near the University of California, Berkeley, had faced weekly protests from the group, and the town council had passed a motion resulting in the city clerk drafting a letter branding the recruiters “unwelcome intruders”; this was later reworded after drawing national media attention and outcry.
So take heart all those of you striving to overturn dispicable bans targeting our military on campuses – perseverance pays off!
